La Belgique est plus progressive que la France, meilleur niveau de vie, plus tolérante, ne s'oppose pas à l'entrée de la Turquie dans l'Union Européenne contrairement à la France, a un meilleur système santé, une meilleure sécurité sociale, des universités moins chères mais de toute aussi bonne qualité (souvent envahies par les Français d'ailleurs).

I have a sort of similar thing to the french. I like the people, the countryside and history. I am just not a fan of the language and found it hard to learn.
But I do see your point, but, England is a little soft at times. They should get rid of the radicals and extremists be they MAH (Muslimes against Heroes), or Sharia Law in Britain, or English Defence League, as they are idiots. Thugs with a new outsource.
